Submit The Form

Once you’re done filling out the form with your details and documents submit the form which will be sent to the American Academy Jordan to be viewed by the admission office

Review The Submission

Once AAJ’s admission office receives and reviews your application with all the documents being correct you will receive an admission call to let you know about your acceptance

Gather Necessary Documents

Once accepted, take all the necessary documents with you to the American Academy Jordan in case of any requests from the admission office

Interviewing Process

You will get to know the school more by explanation and a tour around to see your new environment and life that you will be admitted to

Once documents are handed in and you’ve received your acceptance letter and have finished your school tour, you will then become an aspiring AAJ student ready to start your successful scholastic journey to do the impossible

Things To Know First (Important)

The application form below is where you should fill in all your details and upload your documents in the form of a PDF (10 MB max size). Before you apply you need to make sure of the following:

Before Applying Prepare These Documents

  • Health Vaccination Card
  • 2 Personal Pictures of The Student
  • All Your Certificates (please view the in-depth details below of the certificates) 

Make Sure Your British IGCSE/IAL or American ACT/HSD Certificates Are Stamped

If you applying to AAJ please make sure your British IGCSE/IAL or American ACT/HSD certificates are stamped from the following institutions:

  • British Council Jordan Rainbow Street Amman (For British IGCSE/IAL Certificates)
  • AmidEast Office Amman (For American ACT/HSD Certificates)

If You Are Coming From Outside of Jordan

If you are coming from outside of Jordan to apply to AAJ please make sure your certificates are stamped from the following institutions:

  • Country of Residence Embassy (for example, if you are coming from Qatar you need to stamp your certificates from the Qatari embassy)
  • Ministry of Education Tests and Examination Department (Al-Weibdeh Branch)
  • First Zarqa Directorate of Education (Private Education Department) 

If You Are Applying For Year 10

If you are applying for Year 10 please submit your Year 8 and Year 9 official stamped certificates to be admitted to Year 10.

Submitting Your Files in Application

Once you fill in your details and reach the file attachments section, please put all your documents such as your pictures and scanned softcopies of certificates and any document in one *PDF* file (10 MB max file size). You can use a website called Combine PDF to put your documents into one PDF file.

I want to apply but my documents aren't ready

If you want to apply to AAJ but you are waiting for a specific document from your previous school or an institution you can head to the Private Education Department in Ministry of Education and apply for a legal deadline in order for you to be admitted into the school until your documents arrive later.
